This Minty Sweet Pea Hummus is a fresh and flavorful twist on the classic!
Any other hummus addicts out there?? There’s just something so delicious about blended up garbanzo beans with a few spices. I’m one of those people who buy the small tub of hummus from the grocery store and then to proceed to eat the entire thing in one sitting. But, I’ve found a way around that. Just make your own! It’s cheaper, you can eat it right out of the food processor instead of the little tub and you get to add fun flavors to it.
Today I’m celebrating June produce with some other really talented bloggers so don’t forget to check out their delicious posts at the bottom of the page!
Right now I’m really digging this Minty Sweet Pea version, and I’m happy to say that my little one loves it too 🙂
I was at the grocery store and it was really busy and I stupidly had not made a grocery list. I was feeling flustered and was about to get in line to check out when I randomly decided that sweet peas and mint might taste good together in hummus.
I ran back to get all the ingredients and it turns out it was a pretty delicious decision! This hummus is a little bit sweet (in a good way) from the sweet peas and flavorful and refreshing from the mint. For some reason I don’t cook with mint very often, but after making this hummus I plan to incorporate it much more in my recipes!

YES! Gimme all the hummus. Honestly, I don’t ever require “proper meals” anymore. Just give me all the snack-able foods and I’m happy. Love the peas in here. So smart! The color is so pretty!
