Description
This Amazing Green Tahini Sauce is packed with tons of flavor and makes everything taste better!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup packed fresh cilantro leaves
- 1/2 cup packed fresh Italian parsley leaves
- 2 cloves garlic
- Juice of 1 large lime, or two small limes
- 1 tablespoon tamari, or soy sauce
- 4–5 slices pickled jalapeños, or fresh jalapeno (to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and black pepper, to taste (I used about 2/3 teaspoons salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender and slowly turn on. Blend until a creamy sauce is formed and you can no longer see any whole pieces of cilantro or parsley.
- Tahini consistency can be different across brands so if your sauce is too thick you can add more water and if it is too thin you can add more tahini.
- Pour into a container with a lid and store in the refrigerator for 5-7 days.
