Description

This creamy Fish Taco Sauce is easy to make and so full of flavor! You only need a few main ingredients and some spices to make this sour cream based fish taco sauce. The lime juice adds fresh flavor and the hot sauce gives it a nice kick. Enjoy on tacos or as a dip for tortilla chips.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice, about 1 large lime
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce, I like to use Valentina’s
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 3/4 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Add all sauce ingredients to a medium sized bowl and mix until completely combined.  Give the sauce a taste and adjust any ingredients as needed.
  2. Store fish taco sauce in an air-tight container for about 5-7 days.  Enjoy on tacos, with chips or however you like!

Notes

Serving size is about 2 tablespoons
